Health Department Approved | Strict Hygienic Conditions
We are ACT Health Department approved – Licence # 100797 and the ACT Health Department performs regular audits. We adhere to the procedures recommended by the ACT Department of Health under the Skin Penetrations Procedures ACT, 1994; Code of Practice for Prevention of Transmission of Blood Borne Infection. Instruments used for tattooing are sterilised single use disposable or sterilised autoclavable instruments. All needles are sterilised and single use only and are disposed of after each client. Every client must complete an Informed consent form prior to being tattooed.
Tattoo pricings vary for each client depending on the size and detail, placement on the body and tattooist. Our minimum cost is $100 and hourly rate is generally $150 - $180 per hour (prices are GST inclusive).
To get a quote on a tattoo, its best for you drop in and see us in person and bring along any supporting artwork/photos, this way we can determine exactly how long to book you in for and you get to meet us in person and ask us any questions you might have. If you absolutely cannot come into the studio for a chat we are happy to communicate via email. All tattoo bookings require a minimum $50 cash deposit
Tattoo Power reserves the right to charge a minimum $50 deposit at the time of booking in order to secure the appointment. Please give us 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booking. While we will do our best to accommodate you; if you do not give us 24 hours notice or do not show up for your scheduled appointment we will forfeit your deposit. We understand that sometimes things can throw your schedule out a bit, but if you are running late we ask that you give us a courtesy call - and please understand that your appointment may be shortened to prevent delays for upcoming clients. Please note - the deposit amount is included in the final cost of your chosen tattoo.
Gift vouchers starting at $100 are available to purchase from the studio during business hours or contact us to arrange another method of payment and delivery. Gift vouchers and unused portions of gift vouchers should be spent within 12 months from the date of purchase, which is the "expiry" date. Gift vouchers must be redeemed at Tattoo Power. Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund. If your appointment exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, you must pay for the balance with cash. Tattoo Power is not responsible for lost or stolen gift vouchers. Gift Voucher holders must be 18 years of age or older.
